Food Vendor Information 

It is the policy of the Festival that food booths are only available to local, non-profit organizations, such as school groups, churches, and civic clubs. We are proud to offer this opportunity to our local organizations, which put their profits to use in countless ways in our community.

Many of the foods do indeed contain sauerkraut! Food items include sauerkraut pizza, fudge, donuts, cookies, and pies. German sundaes and egg rolls, cabbage rolls, polish cabbage soup and, of course, several pork and sauerkraut combinations. Many non-kraut items are also available.

Several of the recipes used in the Festival are contained in our cookbook, Sauerkraut & More, which is available through the Waynesville Area Chamber of Commerce or at any Official Information Booth during the Festival.   Official Sauerkraut Festival Cookbook
