Where do I park? 

A

Shuttle bus parking is provided by the Athletic Boosters at Wayne Local High School at 735 Dayton Road, Waynesville, OH  45068.  Follow shuttle parking signs. Private parking is available at various locations surrounding the festival, but is not operated by, sanctioned, or recommended by the Waynesville Area Chamber of Commerce of the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival. Can I bring my pet to the Festival? 

A

Due to safety concerns for both your pet and festival visitors, bringing any animal to the festival is not permitted. However, service animals are allowed.

Will the Festival be cancelled due to bad weather? 

A

No - the Festival will be held rain or shine.

Q

How do I get permission to promote my business/event/issue/candidate at the Festival? 

A

This kind of solicitation is prohibited within the Festival boundaries.

Here are some specific rules regarding solicitation:

  • No banners or posters may be carried in the festival area.

  • No distribution of pamphlets or flyers or any other written material without written permission.

  • No bullhorns or any other device that projects sounds.

  • Selling anything in the festival area is strictly prohibited unless you're an approved vendor.

  • No solicitation of any kind including, but not limited to, distribution of samples, promotional items, flyers, pamphlets, or business cards.

  • Anyone with a legal petition must register at the Chamber office, and stay in the designated area.

 

Q

 I don't like Sauerkraut! Will I be able to find something to eat? 

A

Yes! We have many food vendors that sell non-kraut food items. Refer to the food section for a complete listing of the food offerings at the Festival. BUT, we encourage you to try and sample some of our unique sauerkraut food items - you might change your mind!

Q

Do you serve beer or other alcoholic beverages? 

A

No, although the Festival does not permit alcohol, there are a few local establishments which serve alcohol, as well as a beer garden with entertainment.

Is there a booth that sells OSF gear? 

A

Yes! You can buy Sauerkraut Festival t-shirts, sweatshirts, gear and tote bags, as well as cookbooks, at the Central Information Booth, located just in front of the Entertainment Stage at Main and North Streets.

How do I become a Festival sponsor? 

A

The Ohio Sauerkraut Festival, held in historic Waynesville in Warren County, Ohio, attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from the tri-state area each year. We are seeking sponsors that could benefit from the unique exposure our event can provide.
